Rules for BioMag time reservations
Dear BioMag users,
Since there is often very high level of activity at the BioMag
Laboratory, we have to use the available time efficiently.
The electronic time reservation system has been updated
to accommodate the new (2002) lab environment. Click
here for details.
Here are the rules:
- Get a permission prior to your study from an Ethical Committee.
- Reserve only the amount of time you need for the measurement.
You should prepare all stimuli etc. in advance. Also, prepare your
subject as far as possible before your time slot begins.
- If you have made a reservation but can not use it, inform BioMag
staff and users immediately that there is a free time slot.
- Inform the staff of potential safety hazards or incidents.
- Inform the staff about technical problems you encounter.
- Please clean the work area when you are finished.
- Also, please remember to clean the hard disk after you have collected
your data.
- Acute patients always have preference.
If you can perform your measurement during the weekend, please do so. Also,
plan to do a lot of measurements in the summer and next winter during the
month after Christmas since these are not normally so busy times.
If you need to test stimuli or do some special test in the shielded
room that does not require a subject, try to do it early in the morning
before actual experiments begin. Otherwise you are wasting valuable
resources.
