The frame of the logo symbolizes a dewar. The figure in the center can be interpreted either as the heart (blue, venous blood; red, arterial blood) or as the brain (blue, logical side; red, emotional hemisphere). The figure can also be understood as a isocontour pattern (blue, negative normal field component; red, positive normal field component); the arrow surrounding the field map depicts the magnetic field extending outside the body. The logo was designed by Jon Sundell.
